can you put a B body hurst pistol grip shifter in a Duster with buckets and no console? It looks much longer than the one that was in there

this is what i put in my 68 Dart gts. Photo doesn't do it justice.PG612 PISTOL GRIP SHIFTER HANDLE 1970-74 E-BODY, 1971-74 B-BODY

Hurst reproduction pistol grip as used in 1970-74 E-body and 71-4 B-body cars (using rear shifter location), requires bolt-on style shifter mechanism.

Hello, I used 3 variations. First the straight up E body ( the shortest) and it felt too short and awkward. I then made a 2" extension for the E body handle ( this was made of plain steel stock ) and it made it nicer, but not perfect. Then I used the 71-74 B body non console and it was and is perfect for me. It seems to be the one most people here choose, and for good reason. Some do seem to like the E body though.

Good luck,

Rich
