I've been told that some of the Ford Ranger radiators are a perfect fit, and they are aluminum. Haven't verified it though.

When does it become a problem,??

I added an electric pusher fan, for slow speed and traffic jams.

Yeah the 6cyl rad is also offset to one side to match the 6cyl fan location. anyone using a flex-o-fit unit?

Advance auto has a 22" rad for less than $175.00. Just go on their site and look it up. They are priced right.

I've got a `67 273 radiater. #086 if that helps. It has one or two very tiny leaks on the fan side (green stains as evidence). 40 USD plus shipping from 29642. Good luck

the 1964 Valiant V8 radiator is in the same palce as the 6,
just the hose is different. Use flex hose,or get the outlet moved.

ken5124, brilliant solution.

I have a ~72 radiator in my 65 Dart 273, from Autozone (earliest year they had). It appears it is for a slant six w/ AC. It fits only because I changed to the later aluminum water pump. I did need a 1.5" to 1.75" adapter for the lower tube.

I don't recommend that approach since I had to get the later Federal pwr steering pump and brackets, plus little much room for the fan so couldn't use the clutch fan I bought.

401 V8 round headlight Jeep Cherokee, wall to wall radiator, literally out to the frame rails. Solder L tabs to the sides and mount flush to the frame rails. That S10 one looks nice and AL too.
