That pusher is just like mine but I had to remove the hood latch so it would fit. I also had 2 pullers offset from center so the pulley would clear. The Taurus/Sable retrofit is nice as it has 2 twin fans and a built in shroud. I cant confirm it fits depth wise but I have seen it retro'd into rods and the fans will suck small animals off the road.

crown vic fans are like a small tornado and two speed not sure if year matters

here you go. this is my 63 with a pusher on front. it was a tight fit, but it fits.

Keep it coming. Did any one keep the stock fan?

Mercedes fans are very thin and will fit behind the radiator, its better than a pusher but you do what you gotta do. A puller through a full core sized shroud is the best setup and those Ford product fans suck...hard ! Wire through a relay, Big amp draw when they start.

As soon as I read the thread title.......I thought of you. Hey did you ever sell that car?

Yes, I sold it at Rhinebeck NY Spring swap meet, then saw it on Ebay
2 weeks later for $750 more than I got.

Lost track of it.

Nice car, but lost my storage, and rarely drove it.

I have a 2 year old car and that is parked on the street.

Next time I get a house with a driveway, and hoopefully a Garage too. :)

I was at pic-a-part the other day and checked out a 98 Ford Escort. Puller, offset to the driver side 22''x17'' with shroud. I measured up my 63 Valiant ( It has a 80 Aspen slant rad.)It is within 1/2'' of the water pump pulley.May have to clearance a little of the shroud by the pulley but it looks do-able. The 80 Aspen rad has shroud mounts to attach a bracket or two for mounting.Next time I'll take tools.

Hate to see that you sold it, but I understand. Hey you wouldn't have a part number for that fan and make & size and thickness too would you?

No such luck, bought the fan over 10 years ago, when I had a '67 Camaro
that overheated in traffic jams. Replaced the radiator in the Camaro
with a large Griffin and added a shroud, and solved the cooling issues.

I think it was a 12 inch fan, and prob bought it at Advance Auto.

Summitracing has a lot of choices too. :)
