No, those are push on. I think there is a locking clip that goes into the hole first, and then the posts go into the lock. I just bought a nice used one off of a member here for $15 shipped, because one of mine came up missing. :banghead: I didn't have the lock, in fact, there was only one hole in my vinyl top!! I poked another small hole in the top for the other pin, and pushed the emblem into place.

I have a few versions of that emblem. Do you have a close-up photo of yours or the casting number off the back of the one you're trying to match?

No, I don't they were missing off my car when I bought it, I just see them on alot of vinyl top car's and I like them. The pair I seen on epay, had a screw in the center, and said they were off a Dart, also fit charger, and other models I guess. Let's see what you have, maybe I'll take them off your hands.

Thanks Jeff

Anyone have a nice pair, or know where to get a pair of sail panel tri star emblems in the pic for my 69 Dart?

Here's the ones I have. According to the parts book, your '69 GTS should use the top ones which are 2449932. The center pair are 2841393 which they show as being for a 4dr sedan. The bottom one is 3613923 which came out in the early '70's. The early ones have two pins on the back and looks like they can either press into a socket clip or fasten with speed nuts. The center pair use a screw to mount them and have a centering pin to keep them straight. (one of mine is missing that pin). The bottom one is designed the same way but the pin is slightly bigger in diameter and about a 1/4" longer so it would probably take either type of fastener like the early ones along with the center screw.
Thanks, Mark

P.S. Oh, and the bottom one is almost twice the thickness as the other two.

Thanks Mark, How much for the middle pair? I was planning on just screwing them on because there is a new top on the car.

Jeff
