hey guys... have you ever thought about having a classified area just for forced induction parts? just a thought... i thought it would be cool.:happy1:
 
Might be a possibility in the future and i will bring it to the attention of the guy that would make that decision but for now it looks like they would go under the "mechanical" section.

How about we have a thread stickied here in the forced induction forum titled "Forced Induction Classified adds" where one wishing to sell related hardware can post a link to thier add in the Mechanical parts section?

There would need to be a very brief description and the link only. Not gonna work if the add is posted twice or there is no link. Up to the seller to mark thier add sold when the item is sold. A PM should also be sent to me about sold items so that I can delete the post. PM should include the current post number and what the item is...

I have been thinking about something similar for the Hemi swap section too...

If it becomes a pain or is abused it will go away...
 
I think a totally dedicated forum for Forced Induction Parts would be great.
It couldnt hurt, and would be a good way for Forced Induction guys to have some Parts Quiry Seperation from the other Mechanical Parts Classifieds......most of the stuff IS in a totally different catagory...IE Turbochargers, Superchargers, Carbs, Electric Fuel Pumps, Regulators, Wastegates, BOV's, flanges, piping, materials, ect.
 
i think it is a horrible idea!. sorry.lol it fits right into all of all classified sections, so why change what does not need to fix? i think it is getting a little carried away

here, all i like to look for is parts for 340 cars and parts. can we make a section just for 340 cars/parts? get my point?
 
I think we need a complete second set of all the classified sections......one set for right handed people and the other for left handed......

I think that would be too select a group. If specialization is neccesary I think first motor and driveline and suspension and brake should be broke down. I,m happy just the way it is.I might be looking for brake parts and see your thread and take a gander at your big bug catcher and have to have it. Why limit your audience?
 
He thinks we have too many classified ad sections now - and wont be adding any more at this time.

Yeah then next thing you know, we'll have a lug nut classified section.
 
I think a Mopar specific blower/turbo classified section would be awesome, as the phord and chevy specific units are common on eBag.

For now, just post up in the Forced Induction thread.

I have a B+M 174 blower setup for a small block..... and plenty of lug nuts for sale, LOL
