I would like to puchase a new or used "Cheater" cam with cam card for a 1970 340 car in Stock Eliminator. Advertised specs are .462/.473 lift, 336/348 duration, overlap 118, centerline 108. The cam was made by Cam Dynamics under the following Direct Connection part numbers:p4007275 or P4349243. Contact me if you know anyone who is willing to sell one. Thank you.

hi, only if they have the master lobe to make one off of. those were special grinds and required a fatter lobe. that grind hasen't been used in years. just food for thought.

Google Harold Brookshire. He is a awesome cam grinder.I remember reading somewhere he worked for Cam Dynamics in the 70s.His specialty is aggressive under the curve cam ramps. He might have your answer.

Is Harold Brookshire part of this forum or do I need his email or phone number to contact him?

That is a good question. No,never been here.He is the one responsible for Comps Magnum cams, and thr newer Lunati voodoo stuff. This is gas mileage grinds for what he knows.Google him.

Hi fellow members,

Thanks for your info and support. I have contacted Factory Mopar Parts.com, no inventory on requested cam. Also have contacted Comp Cams. This is the route I prefer since the Cam Dynamics cam profile is probably long time obsolete. I have given them the cam specs including @.050 specs and NHRA requirements plus everthing else they requested. Waiting for their reply.

you might want to take a look over at moparts.com on page 6 of the race parts for sale...comp stocker cam and lifters for sale....200 bucks new.
