I've heard people running 245's on stock barracudas with proper backspacing, just trying to figure out the widest wheel/tire combo that will fit without having to tub it...
Will 15X9 fit a 65 barracuda in the rear?

A 15X9 will not fit a stock Barracuda.
Well it might if use a tire with no buldge kind of like the low riders do. That in my opinion kind of defetes the purpose.
I have found a 15X7 The best size to get max tire under the 65 Barracuda. Although 15X8 would work fine too I think.
You will also have a little rubbing in hard corners and driveways with a 245 tire even with perfect backspace

I was able to put 9" wide X 26" tall slicks in a 14" version on mine but I had to trim the inner lip of the wheel opening so it wouldn't cut the tire. A lot will depend on how centered your rear end is and the centerline of your wheels.
