Dunno if it was factory..I am gussing not because it is a Craig unit, however I have heard that these were a Factory option. In short I have no idea...

Just throwing out an offer based on the information given. I am interested and based on turning down the offer. Im guessing you do have a price in mind that would "make it worth your time and effort". If you decided to offer up any more information or new info if it works or not I would still be interested. Thanks...

Ok, After I test it I will decide what to do next. I checked on Ebay and there are none so I am guessing it is a pretty rare item. I have not found even a picture on the internet either.

I saw those on ebay..not the same unit.

I am thinking it would be cool to put in my Dart for car shows. Would be a conversation piece and I do not like the fancy Sony C/D player in my Dart anyway.

Hey 'usdart' - There's at least two of them left in the world because I have one on the shelf in my garage. I bought it and put it in my old '69 340 Swinger in the very early '70s right after the car was broken into at my work and the underdash aftermarket tape player was stolen.
The floormount Craig unit was top-of-the-line back then. I liked it because it could be easily pulled from the baseplate and locked away in the trunk for safekeeping when the car was parked.
Not sure what I'm going to do with mine when I get my current '69 Dart project finished.
Good to see there's still another one out there.
