I really like Waggins 2 door wagon with the Dart hardtop roofline.
So much so that I've been playing with the thought of building one myself, only using the Valiant Signet roofline to keep it all Valiant and even more factory looking.
Turns out someone beat me to it and did a really good job of it.
Of course being a '65 Valiant fan and owning a wagon myself I'm a little biased, but this "Barracuda Sport Wagon" has to be one of the nicest "should have been" custom jobs I have ever seen, regardless of make.

Nice! Since it has Dart taillights, I guess it's more of a Bart Wagon!

I took some pics of this..Barracuda wagon at MoparFest 2011 this past summer. The work was top notch!Pics are too big to load.:eek:ops:

I seriously think it is one of the best looking A-bodies I have ever seen.

As mentioned earlier I've been thinking about making a car like that for some time. One thing is having an idea and a picture in your head but now that I see how good it looks in real life I'm more and more convinced that I have to have one.. Just don't think I can bring myself to do it to my precious wagon, guess I'll have to find me another to start with.

I agree that this was probably a Dart from the start because of the tail lights. But it may also be that the owner/builder just likes those lights best.
All early A wagon bodies were pretty much the same other than the tail lights that are bolt on parts and realtively easy to swap.

Did dodge wagons use plymouth bumpers?

They did. Here is a pic of a '65 Dart.
The wagons didn't rank high when it came to retooling.
First of all they have the round rear wheel openings that all cars were meant to have. The fenders were redesigned in the last second but it was found to expensive to retool for the low volume wagon bodies..
As seen very clearly in this picture all wagons also have the provision for the '63 tail lights in the body, just filled in but very visible.
Using the Valiant body including rear bumper (because of the curve in the fender) on the Dart was also a cost cutting move.

Bah-hum-bug to that grinch!! Who would not want to have their car seen.

If the "owner" of the images didn't want them used, he shouldn't have posted them on the WORLD WIDE WEB!

The owner of the car has nothing to do with it. The pictures were taken at a car show along with hundreds of others. It's the photographer that has them on flickr that doesn't want them to be seen elsewhere.
I could understand that if they were used in some sort of promotion or something, but we only used them to discuss the cool car.
I guess he has the rights to do so and I'm not going to use more energy on this matter. I reposted the links in the first post so they can be seen by clicking them.

Hope the owner of the car finds his way here, would like to see some build pics and have more info on the car.

Ok then it's Bah-hum-bug paparazzi . Anyone got there own pics from that car show, post them and then dump his links. If hes like that we don't need him.

Looks as if the owner of the copyrights on those photos is a professional photographer. US copyright law is screwed up and backwards compared to most of the rest of the civilised world. Elsewhere, if you hold a copyright, that's it, you hold the copyright. If someone violates it, they're in the wrong, end of story. In the US, if you don't vigorously defend your copyright, legally you're assumed to have abandoned it. So I can't fault him for enforcing his copyright. Nice of him to give the Flickr links so we can all continue to look at the nice car:

The coolest thing about this car, for me, is that it's a one-of-none built out of a one-of-almost-none. A '64 Canadian Valiant wagon ('64 Dart tail treatment, US '64 Valiant dashboard, "VALIANT" nose badge) was the basis.

Valiant wagons were made from '60 through '66 in North America (Lancer wagons from '61-'62, Dart wagons from '63-'66). All 4-doors, no 2-doors, and no Barracuda wagons. This what's the subject of the thread is a '64 Canadian Valiant wagon reworked with '64-'65 Valiant Signet 2-door hardtop doors and forward roofline, and a '64-'65 Barracuda front clip.

Dorian... they did..up til 1966. And later than that in Australia.. and South America.. the real crime is that they never gave us the El-Camino/Ranchero like Utes like they did elsewhere..

Check this link out and see what they got Down Under...

Either Google or use the search feature onsite and enter valiant staion wagon or dart stawags... you'll find plenty. Neat cars.
