largest tires on stock 68 dart

by stock wheels I mean stock wheels that came on a 68 dart, I have 14" wheel i think 6" wide currently with mickey thompson indy profile f70's but have a extra set of stock real wheels and wanted to put the largest available slick on that will fit under my car with NO modifications so I can run it at the track. so far I think im going with a 7.70" slick I found on summits site and thanks for the help and further input would be appreciated

The 14" x 6" are more than likely 14" x 5 1/2" (but could be a 14" x 4 1/2", you need to check for sure).

14 x 4 1/2 was the standard wheel.
14 x 5 1/2 was the standard wheel on performance models

For a 14" x 5 1/2" (or 6" ) wheel I wouldn't go more than a 225-70-14.

Sorry..... I just had a look at the tire you linked. It is 22.8" tall. That tire is very short. I wouldn't use it.
