**Twin Turbo 67 Dart Project**

If your parting with the 3:91 sure grip third member let me know.

Well I might, It is all brand new 489 Nodular Case, new bearings, new 3.91's, new Sure Grip.....New 7290 Pinion Yoke. I got alot of $$ in it so it may be better for me to just keep it and set up another one with the 2.76's. The new one will have a 1350 Pinion Yoke on it.

I pick up the Engine at IMM on Friday so I can do all the modifications to the Fuel Rails, Add the Crank Trigger, Home Brewed Dizzy and the 8 D585 Coils. There is a bit of wiring to convert everything over.

On another note, I pulled the trigger on a 727 Trans Today. Tranzact of Indy is the company I chose to build it. Joe the owner is a real nice guy and spent way too much time with me on the phone explaining everything in extreme detail of how this build will go. Lead time is about 2.5 Weeks and the price can not be beat anywhere.

It is their Stage 4 Transmission that is Upgraded with Extras. It comes with their Billet Front Drum loaded with Raybestos Race Clutches and Kolene Steels, Billet Piston, Rear Drum Loaded same. Governor Support Mod & Gov. eliminated, Lightened Sun Shell, Lightened Park Sprag, Red Race Front Band, Kevlar Rear Band. Upgraded Servo's with Mods, Upgraded Oiling, Rear Bolt in Heavy Duty Sprag. Heavy Duty Band Struts, 3.8 Lever. Case Race Prepped, Clearance d & Vented, Case Notched for Easy Access to Convertor Bolts. Billet Nitro Full Manual Reverse Pattern TransBrake with low/Reverse Band Apply. Deep Pan and Filter Extension, Full Pressure Check and Tested.

I guess he manufactures alot of these parts himself inhouse. They have been doing this for a very long time.

He says this Transmission will withstand 1500HP and will easily live behind my TT Set up. We shall soon see!

Price is $2000.00 with a $50.00 Core Charge & $140.00 Shipping.
Out of State Sale so no Tax!

MODIS Lab Scope Plug-in User Manual - Snap-onwww1.snapon.com/display/DocMgmtDisplayFile.aspx?fileid=4663 go here to solve ur misfire learn to use a scope

Sounds like a sweet tranny for a fair price. Are you taking the engine back to Brian after you make the adjustments?

Well there you go! Scope will fix that thing right up! Lmao. So can you tell the direction of electron flow within the flux capacitor causing the misfire in sector 7?

That is some funny stuff!! Yeah a Scope will do the trick. I will be doing data logging on the next round, it is built into the unit but it was not used last time. Learn as you go.

I am hoping the Trans does the trick. Yes, after I get done with the Fuel line upgrade, misc wiring for the crank trigger, dizzy, & coils it will go back for round 2.

Got the engine home today. I put the crank trigger on and it fits perfect!! Need to adjust the bracket some but the #1 Tooth angle is set at 80*BTDC. I also installed my Home brewed Dizzy for the cam signal and it is locked down and set at 120*BTDC. Started on the fuel lines but quit early. I will finish up the fuel lines tomorrow and start plugging away at mounting the Coils on the valve covers somehow and finish up the wiring changes. I have a few good ideas but want to make sure before I get out the sledge and chop saw...... haaaa:D

Mad,

What fuel system are you using? I was thinking about a stealth tank with a areomotive pump in it with 10an comming out to a y block and 8an the rest of the system.

I am running 3 Walbro GSL 392's. They are Quiet and are ready for 1400HP Boosted. Tank to 10an Feed to Pre Filter, to Main filter to 10an/8an -Y- to both fuel rails. 8an Return. I will be using the stock tank and making a Sump for it. The walbro pump is super quiet, even with all 3 of mine on you can barely hear them at all.
With your engine boosted the Aeromotive A1000 Pump will not fit the bill. It is only good for about 700HP Boosted, no matter what they say it is good for, you will run out of fuel.

The price is very good also on these pumps. 1 of these is good for 600hp in a Naturally Aspirated Application.

The tank will go in the stock location with the sump facing the rear of the car. The Deisel guys use these pumps to lift fuel so I know they do not need to be below the fuel level so mine will be mounted in the spare tire well. In that location they are about 3/4 of the way into the bottom of the tank.

Again I will be running the stock tank. I posted the fuel cell for you.

Stock location huh? I'm interested in seeing how you mount that square in the stock location. Those pump are the ticket though... especially of they are not loud. I'm assuming your going to just cut the holes just big enough to fit the 10an through? Sorry for all the questions but we are kinda build the same set up. lol

Never mind.. I can't read very well apparently!!!!

All I can say is DAM!!!!!! Awesome work! It took me two Capt. & cokes to read this thread. Can't wait for the numbers.

Thx for the info.. I still reading through ur thread looking for info..lol.. So much great info here. For some reason I thought you where running the MS3 set up? Also do you have the link to your intake elbow and TB?
