hey everybody, im yellowdartdaves son adam. i regret to say that my father has suddenly and unexpectedly past away on 1-5-12, he had just turned 60 not too long ago. he had a stroke in his sleep (cause by a previous unknown heart attack),he went painlessly and how he would have wanted to. he was a really great person and the best father and will be deeply missed. he had a good fun life and was always a pleasure to everybody he was around and was welled loved by everybody that meet him. he really enjoyed this site and i wanted to say thank you to anybody that he might have made friends with here.
he loved his mopars, some of my earliest memories were with him and his cars and its something we have always done together. im gonna miss being under the hood with him.....
 
Sorry for your loss, I know the feeling, my father passed away 1-7-10. I met your father a few times several years ago and he seemed like a great guy.
 
Sorry for your loss, I went through that with my father in August 2010.

oh no....., i am very sorry to hear this.....:( ....he was an active member and just posted the day before......life is so fragile....:( condolences go to you and your family....
 
thanks for the condolences guys,its appreciated. its a big shock it happened. i just turned 28 and wasnt expecting my dad to be gone so soon, i was expecting at least a few more years to where i would even have the thought in mind. i was expecting that he would be running around with a cain, smiling, chasing his grandkids (if i had any kids) into the car for a "hot lap" around the block in the dart.

i figured it was a good idea to let you guys know as he hung out here alot and let his friends know and with him passing if somebody needed to p.m. him and nobody knew where he went and all the problems that could be. im very into cars and other hobbies and forums and figured id try to contain any problems with him not being here.
im sure ill be back on here in the future (beyond my previous looking around here with my dad)
 
I'm shocked.
I really liked his presence and comments on the site, and really adored his car as well.
Sincere condolences sent to you and your family, and he will be greatly missed.

Sorry for your loss Adam. I'm sitting here reflecting on my relationship with my dad (great as well) and wishing I had called him tonight like I thought about doing.... Life is short and we are not guaranteed even the rest of today, let alone tomorrow.
