Can you identify this???

I can't see well enough in your photo Here's a simplified diagram of the 4 pin ballast setup:

Bear in mind that the notched end of the ballast is important, as it identifies one side from the other which are different

came from this site:

In the drawing, the wire going off top right labeled "existing wire" is your IGN run or "IGN 1" wire, older cars were dark blue, yours still might be. Not shown in this simplified diagram is the brown coming from the bulkhead connector, goes to the resistor -- same terminal as goes to coil+ This is your "coil bypass" circuit, also known as "IGN 2"

Some useable diagrams from the same site:

Switched over to an AAW 4 wire ignition switch..to compensate for the lack of 2 IGN terminals they have me running a wire with a diode from the S on the Starter relay over to the flat side of the ballast

The ballast part is not clear...the notched side (right side in my pic) of the connector has two wires coming out of the bottom one as in the diagram...the other doesn't appear on any schematics I have seen...icluding the wiring for the 75 dart...seems like it should go somewhere...could it have gone the third connection on the seatbelt relay?
