Yesterday my son who now lives down south calls me and asked wheres mom i need to talk to you guy together.At the time of the call i was not near my wife.So when i was near my wife just prior to calling him back my wife and i looked at each other and said what could it be and with out skipping a beat we both said hes calling to say He's going to be a dad.Well i dialed and asked the question,but before he could answer my wife spits out she pregnant.My son answers how did you know Well we answered because were you parents duh we know these things.
So there you have it my son of 21 has made me a grand pop at 44 .As i am still coming to terms with this i am still very happy and yet still very disappointed.He made me feel better when he said i will be a good father to my child no matter what.
Thanks for listening to a very young 44 year old G-pop.Has anyone become a g-pop or g mom sooner than this?

Congrats! I'm 61 and have a 21 year old grandaughter, so lets see, daym I was 40! I have 14 grand kids now, and I love spending time with them.

Congrats!! I am 47 and have a 4 yr old and a 3 yr old granddaughter so, I was a grandpa just before I turned 44 as well. Best thing as parents we can do is be encouraging and keep our relationship with our kids in the best shape it can be so we can offer them advice and guidance!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I am 42 years old and I am the grandfather of 2. My granddaughter will be 2 in May and my grandson just turned 1 in December.

I,m 55 and my oldest grandson just graduated from university at the age of 22. You do the math.

Congrat's G-paw, they are a world of entertainment and a great way to get even with your kids. LOL

It's fun still being young and having grandkids. They always want to spend time with the "cool" grampa and go for a ride on this.:supz:
