1966 Plymouth Valiant Signet

Your question is really "why won't it sell at $3500?". I can give a little perspective, if you can handle honesty. Last December I bought a 64 Valiant convertible near Modesto, CA for $2400, and only because my wife said she liked the photos. It is a slant six, automatic with bucket seats, and nice paint, but needs a top. The drivetrain appears fine, but suspension and steering needs rebuild. Convertibles are worth almost 2x a sedan and a 3 on the tree and bench seats is the least desireable. At least yours is a 2 door.

A few years ago, a guy near me was trying to sell a 65 Dart convertible, with a HiPo V-8 engine. I saw it when I bought some parts, but was too busy with my 65 Dart to consider (plus my wife screamed). I saw a last post from him on craigslist "first one with $3K gets it", so I imagine it sold for that or less.

If you wait long enough, you might get $3500, but if you want to sell in the next few months, maybe $2500 top. It would be worth more in the East or North, but shipping it there might cost $1000. You also need many more photos, like the engine bay, trunk, and underside.
