it is a 1970 but they woudnt fit on either side, they would just bout fit one thread and wouldnt go on at all after that. Is there any other ones i could use besides the ones i got from summit that were cragar ones. Is there a generic brand i can get from autozone or something that would work or do they have to be the cragar ones?? What do you guys suggest i do? try ordering the right hand ones from cragar?? it just doesnt seem like the diameter is wide enough to get past one or two threads.

1973 is the change over year from Ma Mopar. If a 1972 back has right handed threads on the drivers side they were changed by a previous owner.

quickest fix would be to put your new wheels in the back and head to the nearest tire shop they will have the lugs you need in stock and help you out the easiest

The left handed thread lugnuts for Cragar aren't just laying around every where so I doubt that will work.
