Get yourself a 2.5 mandrel U bend with about a 4" bend radii, weld it up to a flange and bolt to stock L6 exhaust. Make it come straight up between the steering box and motor mount. weld a T4 flange on the top and get yourself a turbo on top. Duct it to a Holley 2bbl on a super six intake with a stromberg to Holley adapter and make a carb hat from an aluminum Holley carb cover with a hole in the side. plumb the hot side straight back and down to the existing exhaust route. Use 2.5 for that too. Set wastegate for about 6-8 lbs and you wont need to mod carbs PVCR's or fuel pump. mount a cheap Ebay blow off valve (careful, the REALLY cheap ones seem to leak around the adjuster screw unless you O ring them). Pretty cheap if you score a turbo on sale. Celica CT-26 turbo is good size and are inexpensive to find as everyone dumps them for bigger ones. Go for it! (See forced induction for other 6 builds)
