Yep--also notice the shock mount is for a bolt top shock and you do not use the factory location??? IF you fab something that has minimum welding on the frame and can support the load,You will be taking lots of orders!!!! This thread is what makes this site "THE BEST" everyone is pitching in to come to a "SUPERIOR" product without the inflated prices we usually pay because it's a "MOPAR" product God bless u guy's who are wiling to do this stuff--Steve

I am in the process of moving out of my garage and into a shop right now and now have my semi retired father in law helping me out so I can start working on other brackets and improving the bars that I already sell. I also plan on making some kind of adapter that will go from a through bolt style to the factory shock location and it won't break the bank. John

I haven't updated this tread in a few days because I have been busy working out some issues with the LCA's fitment with aftermarket strut rods and also a little more clearance for the lower ball joint assy. I don't want to send any out until these issues are resolved. Here is what they look like now. At the current I will either weld the coilover mounts in the stock shock location or whom ever installs them can weld them on.

Sounds good--Will be watching!!! I have the tubular uppers and the adjustable strut rods already so adding the tubular lowers and getting rid of the torsion bars (For my application) will clear up some -Header/torsion bar issues we have when we transplant a 5.7 into a 70 A-body--Thanks for the good work--Steve

Nice.

John---you have done such a great job so-far and not all of us are as creative and skilled as u are--So please include the lower shock mount on the arms--I guess for safety sake--Besides if we buy these we have to go with coil overs anyway--Steve

Well thanks, but I do this stuff because I enjoy it. My plan is to have Louis (Mad Dart) tell be the best position to mount them with his conversion and I will be tig welding them on. Here are the mounts that I will be using.

Sounds like a PLAN!!!!!! As Tony say's--"That's how we roll"""

Afco makes a nice coilover shock that uses the factory mount location. Doesn't need an adapter to mount them. I have them on my car. If you like I can get the part number.[/QUOTE]

That would be great. Thanks

If they use a bayonet style top please provide part number. Thanks

Still not sure it is a coilover even though it says it is. Don't think I'll use em anyway but thanks any how.

Yeah, I went on there site and they are but you have to buy the seats & adjusters as a kit and the springs too. I think I'll stay with QA1's.

Most coilovers come without springs...just because spring rates will vary for different customers. Just to mention...
