Did you try them without the wheel?
What does the lugnut say on the side of the head? It should say 7/16 20 LH.
Do you use anti-sieze on the wheel studs?
Side note with Cragars. Always check to make sure the shank on the lugnut is the proper length and doesn't go past the hub surface on the back of the wheel. The lugnut will torque down but the wheel won't be tight. Ask me how I know......
