1911 lovers! Let's see 'em!

I bought this Sig Sauer 1911-22 a little more than a month ago. I have put thousands of rounds through it. It is a sweet shooting gun and deadly accurate. I love this gun. It is a bit of a pain to field strip, bit I own a Ruger Mark III as well, and that is the worst gun ever to break down.

You mean they made the Mark II ever harder to take apart?? I have, as the wife calls it, a mini rifle Mark II, if I remember right it has a 10" barrel. I dont think getting it apart is all that bad, it is putting the damn thing back together. A former shooting buddy has the same firearm. He ran 40,000 rounds thru it once before cleaning. And surprisingly it still performed well before he cleaned it. Sure do miss the days of going to a gun show and picking up a case of 11000 rounds of 22lr for next to nothing......
