F/S My 1967 Barracuda 340/4-spd convertible

I've decided to sell my '67 Barracuda convertible. I've got another 5 cars, so I could use the $$ to finish them up. There's a lot to this car. I've owned it since '96. It's as rust-free a car as you'll EVER find, that's pretty much guaranteed. No sheetmetal has ever been cut out and replaced.

Was a 273 Hipo/automatic originally (not a formula S though) with factory A/C (have all the components) It now has a '70 340 with pocket-ported X heads, TRW forged pistons, Isky 280 Mega cam, factory adjustable rocker arms, LD-340 intake manifold, Holley 650 DP carb, nickel-plated Hedman headers + Hemi mufflers, New Centerforce Dual-Friction complete clutch setup, MP Orange box + electronic distributor, original radiator with high-efficiency 3-row core. The grilles and headlight bezels have been professionally restored by Craig of Orange County, a 2nd gen Barracuda grille specialist. The car was painted by R and R of Irwindale in 1997 (taken down to bare metal and single stage black) and garaged ever since. I've driven this car less than 100 miles since then.....that's right, less than 100 miles since '97. The dash plastic chrome bezel was redone through Layson's (I think they farmed it out) and looks outstanding! ($435) and I installed a reproduction factory tach too. It has a 150 MPH speedo with trip odometer and all the gauges work!

The rear end is a 3.91 posi 8 3/4" with Moser big pattern axles. I installed the MP leaf spring offset kit, 3/4" per side inboard, and am running polished 17 X 8 American Torque Thrusts in the back, 17 X 7's in front. The shifter is an NOS Hurst kit that I bought through Ebay for close to $450. It came in a box from the 60's with the shift lever, box, and every nut, bolt and clip and is designed for a console. The chrome trim ring on the floor is also NOS. The radio is a factory AM/FM unit and (somewhere) I have a special little booklet from Chrysler about the AM/FM radio operation that came with the car. The car has (if I remember correctly) 11.75 disc brake rotors up front from a Cordoba, and 11" drums from a C body wagon out back. The power convertible top has a unzip-able glass rear window and has NEVER been put down. It cost over $600 and has never seen weather. The bumpers?.....original and beautiful. The taillights have nearly zero pitting. The trunk chrome pieces are beautiful.

The spare tire well is perfect and not even slightly weakened by surface rust. Car comes with its original black CA license plates. The dash pad is original and absolutely mint; not one crack anywhere. This car does need some finishing touches though. Mostly the armrest and A-pillar plastic chrome redone. The windshield frame chrome pieces installed (they've already been rechromed) The windshield is new as is the rubber "gasket". The seats have been redone with the "pearl white" seatcovers, have had the correct molded seat foam installed. This is all Year One stuff and I believe I have at least $1500 in the seats alone. The horn button is NOS and the horn ring rechromed (looks new). I don't believe there is any cracking on the steering wheel itself, or very little. The hood chrome "vents" have been rechromed. I've lived in the California desert for the past 20 years and this car has been garaged its whole life. I bought it from a friend who got it from the original female owner. It's pretty amazing, but not quite finished. It needs very little. It's straight as an arrow and never ever even had a rust bubble anywhere. I'd like $17,900 for it.
