I have not mounted it yet, but what do you all think. It is a fully adjustable wing, I got it off of ebay for $140 shipped.

Nice Scamp! I'm partial to wingless Scamps but it doesn't look too outrageous.

BTW, what size tires are you running on the rear?

i have to agree with 1973 swinger i am not usually a fan of spoilers either but it looks pretty good. anyway if you like it i say go with it its your car go for it

245/60 14

Thanks. Are those 14x6 rallye's with stock backspacing? Did you change the spring perch locations or is it all stock? You running the same size on the front?

Sorry for a the Q's but I'll be buying new shoes for my Scamp within the next year and am wondering what the widest tire size I can get away with on the front and rear w/o touching the suspension.

They are 14x7 in the rear and I think the backspace is a little deeper. Stock spring location. They are 215/70 14 up front. 245 out back is as wide as you can go without making mods, not sure about up front. I also have a 8 1/4 rear, if that makes a difference or not, I am not sure.

I also am not a fan of spoilers but can tolerate one if it was original to the car. To me they are just bling, ricer car or american car, same thing. They serve only one purpose, looks.

it's a matter of your preference do it the way you want. I am not a fan of them myself but I did see a swinger with one this weekend and it looked alright, but I am not putting one on mine.
