Adjustable Strut Rods
Heres a couple pictures..you can see the end of the tube has a threaded insert welded into it. This insert goes up against the "bushing" in the lower control arm, and then the bolt comes in from the back side tightening the strut rod into the lower control arm. Hopefully that makes sense...???
