My younger daughter is a huge fan of drumming, has been since she was 3 years old. She like Neil Peart, Phil Rudd, and -you gotta check out- Cliff Hoad (youtube-Kings of the Sun "Drop the Gun")
If she liles drumming, get her to watch some old "The Who" with Keith Moon drumming. He was awesome also. He had his own style. The only way to appreciate his drumming is to see it.
Another one to see is Stuart Copeland from the band "Police". He's fast and technical like Neal Peart.
Also Carl Palmer from ELP (Emerson, Lake, & Palmer) and then was in the band Asia was awesome also. I like his work in Asia the best. I saw Asia at the Chicago House of Blues last April. I want to see them again it was so good.
