depending on the gear ratio you want to run you might want to look for a different case like 489 or 742
I have 3 741 cases, the one in the car had factory 391 gears, when rebuilding the gears were deemed not usable due to pitting on the gear surface. Wanted another set of 391 but 355 or 373 were all that was available
My guess cost the same to rebuild but if you want a certain gear set check before you spend a penny on it.
