Thw shipping weight on a 64 Valiant 2-door is 2,540. The 4-door is 2,475.
If this thing runs even 11-flat, that 35 pounds will only equal .05-sec., accoeprding to the Wallace online calculator I use to prognosticate speeds and e.t's.
At 120 mph, .05-sec. is about 8.8 feet at the finish line. About half a car-length. So, we're giving up half a car-length by running a 4-door instead of a 2-door. Guess we'll just have to work a little harder!!!!:violent1:
