I thought this was pretty neat.

That is pretty cool! What I'd really like to see is clear heating and Rad hoses, a really quick way to check your fluid.

I like it but they have you by the go nads if you want it with the indexing.

If you just buy standard with no thermostat you get no indexing on the glass. If you cough up another $30 then you get the indexing and company name on the glass plus the thermostat. I would really want the one with the indexing and company logo. They trying to force you in buying the one with indexing in order to get that additional $30.

$140 is what they are priced at. Neat but I'll do without.

I wanted one until I saw the price:(

If they offered a non-polished billet one for under $50 I'de buy one but $130 is too steep for my crappy engine bay.

I got a real one Made for a Mopar thermostat. One off so far for testing purposes. I was told by someone to put a gold or beta fish in mine. :prayer: PS mine was free.

I like the look but I think it just a leak waiting to happen. Anyone able to keep a chrome neck from leaking? Every one I've seen or owned eventually leaked.

If I can't run a glass/plastic filter at the track I doubt I can get away with these , I would love a set of clear hose I'd tack weld a bit of wire to either end of a chrome fender fish and point them against the direction of flow suspended mid hose , would really be a neat looking way to keep an I on coolant flow.

It's polished aluminum not chrome. I will make sure to come back with a video of it in action. The top piece is a billet aluminum one that I picked up from Mancini.

Nifty gadget, but I really don't see the point -- especially not for that kind of money. I may be cursing myself and jinxing my cars by saying this, but I just don't have much of any trouble with thermostats.

clear hose? Do it! Piece of clear pipe on a few silicone 90's google killerglass

As a racer.. these all look like accidents waiting to happen. Nice for a trailer queen....but I do like the 'fish' idea LOL

Here's the same one for Zero $;
Cold hose = closed stat,
hot hose = open stat

So for a diagnostic tool, I give it 1 star
For Cool factor I rate it 8, and if it never leaks, maaaaybe 9!
For pricing it gets a big fat ZERO
