Whats the oldest daily driver you drive.

I'm 49, my dd is an '86 Ramcharger 4x4 with the back half of the top cut off, lift, 4.10
60's, lockers, 35's blah blah. The 360's rear main pours like a beer can, runs fine. Hell, I may clean the interior with an air hose again this year.

I drive the rag all over, and then wheel the hell out of it. Been to 'Ol Mexico, Colorado few other places. Went up the trail that broke my buddy's Blazer last weekend, then drove it 200 miles home. His Chevy **** little peices of the 700R4's case all over the ground, turned the T-case to odd angles lol. We glued enough chunks back in with JB Weld to get him to the deer lease...........

My daily driver for nearly the past 7 years is my 97 Ram 1500 4X4 with 5.9/automatic, 8inches of lift and 37in Super Swampers. Truck has over 180,000 miles and is my baby and is treated accordingly.
The 2003 "100th Anniversary" Sportster 1200C with Screaming Eagle Stage One kit, I've had since new and it doesn't really get ridden enough. I enjoy being in the truck too much! I'm getting ready to go to a car show with this rig when I took these photo's.
The family rig is a 2010 Ram 1500 Crew with Hemi/Lonestar edition. I'm 49 and the vehicles (and my boys) keep me young!

"Hell, I may clean the interior with an air hose again this year"... LOL, Now THAT is some funny ****, I don't care who you are.... Can't wait to get my 80 Ramcharger back on the road! :)

I went to Mexico once, many taxis were those vw bug cars-they still made them new down there well after the USA stop allowing them to be sold in the states

They got video screens on the sun visors, big woofers. You can watch rap videos while driving around, cops didn't care. Both visors the cabbies had vedio screens clip on them/ Car shakes like crazy from the bass and the engine. I had no camera-6 years ago, one cab I had to hold the door shut--the guy had a gate latch on the outside but I didn't like being locked in--

wished I had a camera--then again that wasn't a place to snap pictures, not those guys, lol

Used to be the Cherokee, Recently my 08 Caliber,...due to $4 gasoline,....I never have to work on It

Thats easy, that would be my 1955 model wife and though it's not a daily driver any more I do ride her every chance i get.

Sorry, my new daily driver that I picked up a couple months ago is a non-mopar, but I'll show it anyway.

I'm 52 and my daily driver when the streets are dry is a 90' Mustang LX notchback. 5.0 5-speed and I'm lovin it.

Driver when it snows is 99 Nissan Pickup 4x4

I'm 60, my daily driver is my 2006 MINI Cooper, former Red Bull MINI. I now call it Cooper Camino. It gets 40mpg, which is good as I drive 26 miles each way to work every day.

I agree with Joe There's alot more to life than gas mileage.... Well i am 50... My daily driver is a 87 ford crown vic got from my grandfather 7 years ago.

I was daily driving my 65 Newport until a son returned our 96 minivan when he bought new. People would ask "doesn't it get bad mileage", and I would reply "not as bad as an SUV". Funny that people still have the image of gas guzzling 60's cars in their head from the oil embargo days, but don't think the same of the SUV's. When is that last time you saw a Hummer on the road? I get 18 mpg hwy in the Newport and I only drive it home on the weekends, biking along the river instead. I do have electronic ignition and TBI w/ O2 sensor. I am required to have a car at work. I might drop down a year to the 64 Valiant when I finish it, but maybe only Spring and Fall since a convertible, and my wife might take a liking to it.

This is really easy for me, 1965 Bcuda, July 1966 till I decided to repaint and fix a few dings in June 2010. Will be again as soon as I get the EFI issues resolved. And, oh yes age, 75 and a quarter. ;-)
