So...why did you fall asleep at the line? Man, she tree'd the hell out of you!
 
well..i have a list of excuses...biggest one..is this was the first race with a transbrake in the demon...and i am guessing at the light...and i should have left on the first yellow....at least i would have gotten there first.
 
actually the car is 60' really good...1.502 to 1.514....

Probably that 2.74/1.54 gearing in the 904...


funny thing both cars weight the same...without drivers...
 
Still sweet.. i love the sound of that demon ... 11.22 still very nice run.
 
She must have had only 3 coffee's to get that light instead of 5 and going RED! :)

actually that was her worst light all day...we (I) made an adjustment to the biondo button in that car...and she was in the .020 on her other passes....had to slow the button down...lol
 
Geez Tony she must have been dissing you bigtime after that run sorry but you flatout got planted on the line. Gotto say tho that's a nice leaving Demon. Wish we had a track like that here or anywhere near here.
 
yeah..she posted the time slip on facebook...dam kids...no respect for their elders.

...and her car also has a longer wheelbase and is probably less aerodynamic because of the "notchback" as opposed to your "fastback". lol

she and her dart weights 120 lbs less then me...LOL

I agree with Locomotion from above...the Demon should be lighter then that Dart...both got fiberglass bumpers...hood and deck lids,,,8 pt roll bars..frame connectors..ladder bars with coil overs...the dart has fiberglass bumper brackets from and back ......

the demon got a set of strange light weight brakes ...the dart still have the kelsey hayes disc brakes and rear drums.....but i got new strange brakes for it front and back..so the Dart is going to drop more weight..plus new RMS UCA with adjustable strut rods...

both were weighted on the same scale and the same day...oh well...

the good thing about lightening the car...you only pay for it once....
