1970 Slant Six Duster

You're situation is similar to mine...my car started off as a slant six/904 bare bones duster. The problem is that all the stuff you're going to accquire will need a rebuild to be reliable (if you're like me and only want to do things once). My V8 k-frame was $90, BBP 73+ disc brake setup was $275, 8.75 rear end WITHOUT center section was $350. I still need the center section, custom drive shaft, rebuilt 727 trans, cooling system etc....There is alot of small misc things that need to be changed in order to make the car fun and reliable. It all depends on how much power you're aiming for but anything above 275ish and anything from the slant six drivetrain becomes marginal. It's expensive but sure is a heck of alot of fun!!! And those thumbs up will keep on comin!
