Got my bumper from someone that got it from AMD and look what I got who I wonder is doing Quality control there.I sent picssss to the vender who will send them to AMD and they should send me a replacement.its hard to tell in the pic but there is no chrome around the square opening for the bumper bolt,ya sure maybe the bolt will cover that but it will start flaking in time.Total bummer.Would you keep it?

Yes I would send it back, your car is too nice and you've worked too hard on it to settle for a bumper like that.

I would send it back

you are right it will start to peel at some time in near future if you use it

Don you are the 2nd buyer?? I would send it back, but if you bought it from someone who bought it from AMD...good luck....I guess we will see how customer service is. Technically you bought a used part in my opinion

DING DING!!! the guy who originally bought it should of sent it back. I had 30 days to send mine back that I bought from AMD

mine wasn't right and they sent a new one, told me to keep the flawed one.
good customer service in my opinion.

I heard that on some AMD bumpers that is common... due to when they rechrome bumpers they hang them from this area ... and that is the result?????

Yep, contact them about the defect. They need to know so it can be corrected. They obviously use that bolt hole to suspend the bumper into the chrome tanks.
tmm

Don't know what it is with bumpers these days but I have had both the front and rear bumpers replaced twice on my 2011 Ram due to rusting and pitting issues. Do they use a more environmentely friendly process these days or something ???

Not even a question, you paid the price so you should get the quality, if not then that is bullsh*t.

Even in that condition, it is better than you get from them "Boyz" you can at least send it back.

The bumper I got from those "Boyz" at the nationals was out of shape and you couldn't tell til you went to fit it on the car and all they would say was, Sorry, you have to talk to the guys at the show, so I'm just out.

how would that have happened is it where they chromed the bumper with the bolts in them?
