Ever look at old pics of your car?

I just was..... At one time my car looked bad ***! Now it looks granny-***.

What have I done? I'm a little sad at the moment.

Dont have a Mopar yet but my uncle has tons of pics of Mopars he's worked on including a orange Super Bird!!!

How about some black wheels? There's too much 'pale yellow' going on imo.
I'm also not sure if I'm 'liking' the redlines on this model but maybe it'll look better with some more serious looking black wheels.

Here is how I found mine in 1985.

Here I am in 1986 with a new paint job.

Amazing what 20-something years will do to you and your car!

Now see there, I'm just the opposite of rob_robinson87, pacuda59, and BigBlockMopar. My feeling is that aftermarket wheels also imply you've made other changes as well like under the hood.
To me, stock-appearing wheels say nothing's changed from the day it rolled out of the dealership.
Some like the stock look, I like the "I've worked on it and it's something special" look.
But in the end, it's your car and it only has to make you happy.

old and new

There's nothing wrong with "tastefully understated" or mild and wild.. and you can change the wheels whenever you want to change the look.
Too many guys used to add all the stuff that screamed "Look at me! I need the attention"! and made their rides look like they drove by a parts store that exploded.
Or, "Rolled through Pep Boys with the crap magnet on" like so many of the ricers did. I still remember the bad old days of flourescent colored wiper arms and Oakley stickers... 3 sets of fog lights.. etc.
I think all the cars posted looked good in their own way.

Now, when I look at pictures of my old cars, I just wish I still owned most of them!

I only have a couple acans of old pics of mine after it was painted (none of when I got it, red with a mismatched right front fender, And, yes, the color balance in the old pics is off)

Here are some pics of mine, I would never make it as a photographer. Still a work in progress, but here it is when I first got it.
