I was told that I could use later a body drag link, pitman arm, and idler arm on my 66 dart to get the drag link below the pitman and idler arms. I would like to get some additional clearance. If this is possible, how much clearance will I gain?

Thanks

Sorry, but whoever told you this was confused. There are basically 3 sets of A body steering linkages, 63-66, 67-72, 73-76 each with their associated K-member (67 pittman arm is unique). You can't mix between the different types.

Clearance for what?

If your car came with a /6 then you want to get a centerlink from a 63-66 8 cyl car. It drops down for more clearance.

Perfect! Yes, it's a slant 6. Thanks guys. C130- I'm in the middle of deciding if I'm going to put a SRT4 motor in it.

Partly incorrect. No mix-match on steering linkage between 66-down and 67-up, BUT 68-72 and 73-76 can be swapped around if you use all the parts form the same setup. 67 is limited by the single stud idler arm.
