If you compare it to the average cost of a single ounce of ink for an ink jet printer. $23.00 average. Gas is 129 ounces a gallon. Do the math, kind of scary.

It sure is in Kuwait City at $0.78 a gallon.

Yea, but who wants to live in Kuwait City?

By most civilized standards, gas even at $5 per gallon is cheap. My friends in Germany are paying nearly $10 per gallon. As a result, they have become serious about energy savings.

As an owner of 4 gas guzzling muscle cars, it hurts to see fuel prices increase. Now don't shoot me for this, as I also understand that we are a financialy motivited society and higher prices will lead to clean energy technoligy that will benifit us all as a whole.

chevy has a volt for sale lol :D i dont mind paying 3.50 a gallon for my 16mpg V8 duster. i pay to play lol

You don't have to go all the way to Germany to buy gas, just drive north and pay about $1.27 a litre... THATS $4.80 a gallon, what a deal EH !!

it has been reported that by September of this year prices in the US could reach $5 a gallon, yup no joke, this is not a scare tactic but a sound forecast of things to come based on rising cost's, so everyone had better be prepared to dig a little deeper in their pockets come this fall, when prices go to $5 a gallon for milk

the reason that gas is so cheap there is they mark it up for us so they pay less. Thanks BUSH YOU TEXAS DICK.

How many of us, stop a a c-store, and pick up a bottle of pop, or better yet WATER, and shell out over a buck for it. 16.9 oz bottle of Dasani water-$1.29=$9.77 per gallon. Think about it. By the way, I'm not happy with gas prices either.

Yeah, and it's $1.12 a liter in Alberta, that's about $4.20 a gallon, and we make it here!
:wack:

Definitely! I don't know how but those water guys got it made. Don't know how they can sell water for so much. Seems to be a small amount of investment for the price of the product.

We take water and turn it into milk. It takes ALOT of work. Cows, barns, people, equipment, land, crops, trucking, processing, financing.

O yea, it also takes us about 90,000 gallons of diesel per year.

Funny about the ink,...I mentioned it to the pimply faced kid last week when I bought inkjet refills for $37,...It was cheaper to fill up the Caliber,...(he didn't have a clue),...According to CBS news radio this morning, gas consumption is down cause were driving less,...but the prices are gonna go up more cause of the changover from winter to summer blend, the refineries are gonna shut down for a coupla weeks,...

That's why I sold all my gold and invested in Ink.

Didn't happen last time, after the 70 and 80 gas shortages, gas hog suv's were the rage

Come 2030 history may repeat itself

Those days are long gone for me. Buy a case of water or a 12 pack of pop at Target and carry one can with you when you leave the house-or 2-3 cans, what ever you need

Now if only I could stack up on a few 1,000 gallons of fuel before it goes over $4 a gallon

We are getting ripped off, sorry to break the news to you. The oil companies are making billions in profit each quarter. When later on you pay less per gallon for gas then you do today--it will happen, then you see we were getting ripped

The price of fuel has always gone up and down, seems like its just been going up and up but it come back down again, question is when

It's all relevant to your situation. I don't fill my tank but once a month, but I go thru about three cartridges on average a month.
