I was stating that to transform these to perform isnt cost effective. Starting with a 302 head would put you ahead of the curve. The intake runners are too small.
Well actually, pete, the 302 head has the same ports as the early head...and the closed chamber 'so far in my testing' shrouds the valve more and basically hurts flow.
