Question about installing super stock springs

I have 002 003 springs. My front and rear locations are perfectly square on both cars. The shackle angle is different from side to side. On excelleration they will wrap even and straighten out because of the torque going to the right rear. Your good as long as you measured from the lower A-arm holes in the K back and the measurements are the same from the front spring holes to the shackle holes. This squares the front up with the back and prevents the car from trying to spin around when heating the tires. and also pulling to one side on excelleration. Some guys never installed them correctly so they don't Know. nqkjw is correct with his answer. I saw conflicting answers so I replied with mine.

One of the reasons guys go with Fourlinks or latters . They can adjust for this. with leafs you have to be right the first time. I was at Carlise and watched the burnout contest. alot of the know it all's couldn't keep their cars straight at all. But most were done for show not for go.

Take your time and do it right. My one car the right rear had to get moved back 3/8's inch. I can sit at one spot now shift to second and ithe car never moves to the side ..

Notice in the pics of the car on the lift the left rear hangs lower . even with the stablizer bar with the same SS springs. If you sit the car down it tilts the other way. This is because the right rear is alot stiffer. I crank my left front bar up two turns and put the front stabilizer link back on if I am not racing the car and going to cruises. (second last pic) Otherwise the car leans to the left. Notice on the (last pic) how much lower the shock plate is but it still sits level. If you take the turns out of the left front it leans almost that much. Just my input but what do I know compared to the specialists.

To properly set these up for forward bite. Set the car on a level floor and jack the car under the center of the rear. This creates a tripod and the rear springs are not trying to change the front hieght. Level and set the ride hieght on the front as per the manual not off the frame or body but with a measurement from the lower a-arm pin and the bottom of the lower ball joint. subtract the difference and you have your ride hieght . They should be the same if your ball joints are from the same manufacture. Now once you let your car down without the stabilizer hooked up it will change the front measurements and lean. Turn the left bar adjuster in raising up the left front counting the turns until the car is level. When wanting to use the effects and purpose of the SS springs take out that number of turns. But the car will lean. Works for me every time and my car goes straight as an arrow .
