I even had the conceptual plan to take a poor shape sacrificial unit: Restore with body filler, make a fiber master and limited production mold to make fiberglass reproductions and have them coated/finished correctly.

I actually repaired and painted the bezels on my wagon. They actually look great and sort of continue the color line to the front of the car instead of the cut and trimmed look. This is also a less costly way of addressing the issue as opposed to $185.00 repops. Just a thought but I believe that repops would sell in large numbers if the company that has them, I won't mention any names, would lower the price and base their profit on volume rather than trying to soak individuals. What a concept.
