Whats the best time for a factory stock duster 1/4 miles ??

My best friend ordered a new 1972 340 Duster, 4 speed and 3.23 SG. When Spring rolled around we took it to the strip and he made a few passes. Other than larger G70x14 Goodyear Polyglas white letter rear tires, the car was pure stock with about 5000 miles on it. He made a couple passes and it ran 14.51. (I don't remember the MPH) Then dumbass me, thinking I was Jake King, took the distributor apart to change the advance springs. I didn't get it back together in time and he missed the class call. And to make matters worse, I was going to drive it next, DOH! That was the only time he ran it before he bought another new Duster, a black 84 with a 318. Then he fell off the edge and went back to Chebby after that.

1972 was the first year for the low compression 340 and I always thought his ran pretty good. If I had to spec out the fastest factory 340 Duster, I'd say a 1971 T-quad 340 w/ 3.91 gears. IIRC, the 71 's were factored higher than any other because of the big carb and high compression.
