Look what I purchase for my Dart build... Complete kit Kenne bell for my forged 6.1 hemi.. should be fun... I'm a little worried I will have to cut my fire wall to get the back or the blower in though. I also finished up my front suspension today.. Powder coater hosed me and got paint in the ball joint threads what a PITA.. I will never take those out again.Enjoy. BTW that's a 148MM Throttle Body, enough to suck up small childern, mustangs, chabbys, and ricers!

3 words, I can't wait to find out :blob::blob: OK 5 words :eek:ops:

CAP K-member for street use?? Might want to strengthen those shock mounts!! They aren't strong enough for the weight of the car. This has been talked about allover this site.

Outside of the K-member you got some nice stuff there!! When you start cutting the firewall remember it has two areas to address. The firewall itself and the cowl floor.

Sorry pal this is far from a cap k frame. My buddy built this for me. Nice try though.

Looks good. E85 is the way I would probably go. I'm thinking really hard of going E85 with my hemi. Keep up the good work.

Aj

I was looking for the ball joint disaster to confirm this Jason but if he got powder in the threads that's actually the least of your worries my friend.

Ball joints have rubber and a sealed grease fitting inside that DOES NOT SURVIVE THE HEAT OF THE CURE. It shouldn't have been coated at all in the first place, let alone cover up the threads. Good luck with that.

Leanna,

I took the ball joint out.. it was a pita to get them back in.. the actual ball joints were not coated.. only metal was. It will be fine.

The one and only thing that scares me away from E85 is the lack of pump stations. Tough to plan a cruise when I only know of 1 station around, and my cell is only 15 gal.

Nice Job! Wow you totally changed up your project. That Super Charger is low profile, I like it. Does it have a built in Intercooler? I see some fittings in the front cover.

yes it has a intercooler that runs under the head unit, and those hoses go to the heat exchanger mounted in front of the radiator. I'm a lil nervous that I will have to modify my fire wall though.. this huge *** rear mounted throttle body might go back a little far.. well will see next wkend. :happy1:

So does my bank account, wife, parents, dogs, friends, and family! lol

Is that a drive-by-wire throttle body? If so, hope it doesn't go Toyota on you. Most new cars have had them for the last 5 years. I expect it goes thru the engine computer. I would rather have a dedicated control box between the pedal and throttle, but I don't think they do that. I just hope when you turn off the key, it really kills the ignition and isn't just a "please turn off" request to the computer.

It the same one on over 1 million hemi owners driving charger, 300, magnums, rams, etc... Not really worried about it.

If you need to modify the firewall it should be no big deal unless your engine bay is already painted and done..... then you know, anything can be fixed up like it never happened.
