my PST Strud rod Bushing Fell off the car! *PICS*

OK, now Im confused...
quick, someone get a chassis or FSM and straighten us out!

yeah, them washers are on backwards. Probably the reason for the failure. It's pretty obvious that in that orientation the washer is just going to spread the bushing as force is applied. I actually went out and looked at mine:)

yes if you over torque them you cna have issues... my 65 had rool pins that you installed once you had the nut tight enough... most now just have a locking nut but same still applies...

remember that the control arm is MOVING in swinging arch... so by installing with the cups in it will resist travel some sometimes bend the strut rod...
