yes, i'm the guy who got ripped off big time.

as for paying with credit card and paypal, THEY WILL NOT HELP GET MONEY BACK.

i talked to paypal several times with no luck. i got the same answer from the credit card company.

stay far away from Quick77rt from aspenrt.com. he also goes by A57 RT on moparts
 
79410aspenrt, can you say for sure if its the same guy? You recognize the name or pay to their company, LFR Enterprises?

Different guy. 79410aspenrt is just talking about how he also got ripped off over the internet. But different person.

I read others that say they got ripped off in this thread but can't tell if they are the same person Rodzilla is having a problem with.
 
go onto ebay and post a question as to when he will be shipping out the rest of your parts....thats how i finally got the title to my waggin he wont be able to have e bay get rid of the question and people will be waiting to see you post back a thank you for promtly shipping the missing parts

Holy crap, I sold these guys a Milodon gear drive about a year or 2 ago, and they both came and picked it up in a white Suburban, you said father/son?..Dad builds the motors and puts Milodon gear drives in everything? They jew'd me down 20 bucks at my door! Pardon the pun. But they didnt take me for a Grand. I asked them about getting banned on Moparts (or FABO, I knew even then!) in a passing manner and they told me it was a "communication problem and the other guy was threatening his family so he stopped all contacts..." Sounded a little fishy to me.

You don't need a mod to do that just look at this profile and it will show the last time he signed on. He isn't dead yet.

Thanks for the heads up AutoX, I was just over on Aspen R/T and figured it out shortly before reading your post. Still sucks period no matter who that a$$hat is!

Doh,, I knew that, I forgot. But also would be nice to see if he has read his PM's. I'm guessing he has!! I knew I should have planned to go to MATS this year,,,then I could have made a side trip to Cali for the day....Grrrr.
Now I can't afford too since tomorrow morning I'm ordering an intake and rockers!!! :banghead:

Can't do that because I didn't buy them on ebay, found him on ebay selling something similar then we went outside of ebay to negotiate on different items.

Now that this is out in the open, maybe it would be wise to wait a couple of days before you order the parts. Things have been known to get on the right track when it is posted here and hopefully it will this time. I would have the heads checked also before putting out more money.

Good idea,,,I can wait a week or so. Check the heads over in the meantime. Spring is around the corner, I wasn't in a rush before but my car has come together a little quicker then I planned. So it would be nice to get this crap over with. I want to run engine on Dyno before installing.

Best off to buy new more money but better in long run. I'll buy new with mastercard or local, but not over internet with money transfer.

Well....whoops. And whose brilliant idea was all that? Ebay and Paypal have great buyer's protection....but you have to deal within their parameters to qualify.

I will say this about the seller. My friend Rodney has bought some things from him multiple times. The last time he had a problem with one of the items not being as he expected. I won't go into detail, but the seller shipped a different good part to make up for it. Have we heard from the seller on this yet, or is this still one sided? We need to be caerful because stuff like this might make people not even want to ship to other countries anymore. It's not like there's not enough trouble there already.
 
Yep I have also delt with them through a bodies only. I paid through pay pal gave them the money for pay pal fees. I asked for pics never got them and still ended up buying the heads. I got them and the guides were gone and I mean gone they were suposed to have came off of a hard running engine and had a fresh nurling in them. One head was a econo the other was a race head does not matter as the stands had been milled off. But I bought theese as gasket matched and light polishing that is what I expected. They were not even close to a matched pair. This is my fault for not demanding pics so I can't gripe to much.

I have bought several things here and most of it lacks what it is supposed to be. How about a little honesty guys. A lot of people here cus ebay but I have had much better luck with them pieces.
 
Hello Rod, sorry for not responding sooner. The last few weeks have been very tough. Been in and out of the hospital was just diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. I'm so sorry for this delay. I have been fighting a 106 fever and it's near impossible to do anything in the shop. Please rest assured you will receive your intake and rockers as promised. The last few weeks I've been exhausted and very slow going. Its only a one man operation and I want to give you a great product for what you paid for.

Ill call you in a few days with an update
 
Oh yes you can.....he'll have no choice but take care of you as e bay will frown heavily upon him carrying business off of their site
