quick mopar distributer question

So the instructions are good and detailed? will i need to set the pick up gap again once tearing it down? i believe it's 0.008 and your spos to use a brass feeler guage? I mtook apart a spare mopar distributer that i had and it was easy but i did not take the rotor post off? couldnt figure out to do that. But i will order the limiter plate tommarrow along with instructions and i will put together and take aprt my spare mopar distributer so that when i get the limiter plate i'll be good and ready to install it. By the way are you running a 360 magnum? thats what i'm running if you are what did you end up setting your timing too? i been told magnums like 32 to 34 degrees total with 14 to 18 degrees initial timing.
