Ford Taurus -> Dodge Dart

Sure feels weird after what, 6 months, of driving a junker Ford Taurus and switching to my Dart. Strong Arm Steering and no power brakes sure are different compared to the Taurus. One thing I forgot is how long my car takes to switch to 2nd gear when going slow, 3000 rpm! Yet if Im going fast or stomp on it then it shifts nice and quick and smooth. Sounds weird compared to the Taurus. God I missed driving Old School Muscle...

Stomp on it all you like, just remember, "approximately $4.00 a gallon, and when you stop on the old carb'd engines, you looking at about 3 to 5 mpg.

I let my son use the 72 Swinger (360/380hp mopar crate) he put about 80 miles on it that weekend, and used nearly a tank of gas doing it.... "Honest, I wasn't flogging the car, Dad"! lol
