I'm takin this moment off from being a moderator to voice my own personal opinion so dont hold me to those higher moderator standards. if someone is asking fifty dollars for a dozen eggs that are perfect but they are readily available for 2.79 for 11 perfect eggs which eggs do you want to buy? I know the answer to this and I'll take the eleven eggs also. heres the tricky part the guy with the eleven egg's for 2.79 see's the ad on e bay for 50$ for the 12 perfect egg's and decides he need's to compete with that gay.......next thing you know there is competition even though the egg's are only worth 2.79 next thing you know the whole world of the a body egg has been crushed and we cant get no eggs unless were made of money...............how ya gonna build a car now with rich or stupid people in control of the market????? the government is run down by the same means and so forth with insurance companies, doctors offices......let's just face it...I'm not rich and don't belong in this hobby...it should be only for those that can afford it......I earned my spot a long time ago and I'll be damned if I'm not gonna fight to keep this one thing for me........and you!!!! heres how I feel, "I don't have enough money to build these cars I have been building for thirty some years ohhhh booo Hoooo I 'm gonnna gooo cry or quit.....not happenin I still sell my parts reasonable ask anyone...then again maybe they buy them from me and sell them for way more on e bay???? thirty some years i spent savin these cars from the scrapper maybe I should get with the times and upp the prices to match what the rest of the world is doing. seriously you really want to back up the people making this hobby unafordable to people like you and I????I had my minute to think about it many years ago when I met the first idiot that was in the hobby just to make a profit and I met many along the way just like him.....you'll like him as much as I do when you need that one part to finish your project. there have been plenty of folks needed a part I had that i didn't need that got what they needed and there will be more until I'm out of parts then a lil' tiny piece of this dies just think...if a millionaire walks up and offers you 500$ for a slant six two bbl intake and you take it they are all now worth 500$ and not a penny less..... meanwhile back at the farm some kid is piecin together some old duster or dart and decides he should build a honda instead I don't even like havin this conversation about what is right and what is gouging we see it everyday....some idiot pays too much for his egg's and now the rest of us have to pay that price thanks i'll just do0 without them eggs, Keep takin up for em I hope they give you a decent deal for lip service, I can crush what I have here and live happily if i can just crush the spirit of the car's I love can't wait till they and all the parts are gone.......a bodies will all be e bodies when they grow up and then you or I won't be allowed to play anymore and as terry pointed out, its not a big conspiracy and you shouldnt try to be part of it...your just encouraging them......just wait till you need something and meet up with them and the rest of us are gone then it'll sink in...buy really low sell really ridiculously high you'll be the hero for takin up for them I'm sure they'll give you a fender bolt for your efforts and don't address me by name or even act like we know each other when you back up the people that are makin it impossible for the Lil' guy to have a tiny piece of the pie this place was beautiful till a holes started showin up

What would happen if everybody that was dissatisfied with an asking price in the for sale section started a new separate thread somewhere else in the forum just to ***** about it? See where I'm goin now? That's just as WRONG as complaining within the for sale thread itself. It's a double standard that would be nipped in the butt with a simple rule change. NO comments about for sale adds anywhere except PM. I mean damn Curtis, don't you set prices on your stuff you sell down there? Shouldn't everybody be entitled to ask what they want for something without getting bashed all to hell on a forum? I mean this has the potential to hurt people trying to sell things. People will start backing away.
