Agreed, but eventually the truth comes out for one simple reason: Conspiracy theories only work if everyone involved keeps his mouth shut, and people are generally lousy at keeping their mouth shut.
Agreed here, too -- the primary main goal of the pharmaceutical industry isn't to cure disease and make people well, it's to please their shareholders with money. The way to make money is to put research and development effort not into cures but into long-term treatments patients have to take for the rest of their lives. No conspiracy theory required, just basic MBA math (the kind where "price" and "cost" are the same thing :roll: )
