[SOLD] A body 8 3/4 rear

Hi everyone I have an a-body 8 3/4 rear for sale. The guy I got it from told me he pulled it from a 71 Demon and had about 55,000 on it. The rear has the original bell style brake drums on it I also noticed one of the brake levers inside the drum has the DCPD stamped into it. Missing the third member had 2.76s still has small bolt axles. One of the holes that the lugs is pressed into is stripped and needs fixed. Housing has pitting and the 2 spring steel clips on the right side of the rear that hold the steel brake line in place are rusted off but should be easy have new ones tacked on. Asking $275.00 obo also trade for 71 a body 4 speed parts. Sorry will not ship. Thanks Ken

Separate and pack for shipping into 3 boxes: housing, axles and drums/backing plates and it would be sold.
 
Where did you get the arms that bolt to the engine stand that hold the rearend?
 
I was thinking along that lines....but if it doesnt sell in the next week or so I will probably take it to Carlisle show with me. On a side note I see your in Strasburg I have some very good friends up in Winchester and my wifes family is from Galax near the NC/VA line Ken

Yea Winchester is just 20 miles up the road. We're up there all the time. I know where Galax is. Long time ago visited a gal down there that had a 69 Charger. Liked hers so much I found one for myself. Alas, it went to Mopar heaven when the rusties finally did it in.
 
Yeah that Challenger has been in my family since the early 80s. It a 74 Rallye Challenger thats one of the reasons im listing the rear so I can clean out the garage and start working on her. I gave it to my daughter so now its going to be a father daughter project.

Ok I changed my mind about shipping the rear, trying to clean out the garage. $275 if you pick it up or $330 shipped to your door in the lower 48 it will be taken apart and shipped in 3 separate boxes
