Brake shoes sizes

If you've never done brakes before, just take one side apart at a time so you have a reference to go by. (unless you have a BillGrissom car!) You can then match each piece so they go back on the same way. Since you have a FSM, there should be illistrations showing the correct mounting of the parts. Key areas on the rear are the self adjuster guides, E-brake cable adjustment, and the adjuster itself. Make sure the guides are fully seated in their respective holes and haven't popped out when the spring was installed. The E-brake cable has to have enough slack so it's not effecting the brake adjustment. Take the adusters apart, clean and lube the threads before you reinstall them. Naturally, all the hardware needs to be in good shape and keep the shoes CLEAN!
