Painted engine bay
Finaly got around to painting my engine bay. First off... I wanted to paint it to match the body color(that's what I did on my last Dart, looked awesome)But I had trouble finding the color match, I wanted to do it myself, and have many more pressing issues on the table(transmission build, rear-end etc...).... plus I want the car back on the road!!!!! Here's what I did... 1 gallon gloss-black marine enamel, sprayed with my HVLP gun. Engine clean/break clean to prep, plus a little bondo here and there to fill old holes and such. Used a little bit of paint-able sealant on the gaps. I think it turned out great cost me $65.00 total, and the gloss black matches the bumble bee stripe too!
(p.s. the exhaust manifolds are going to be replaced as is some of the wiring)
