With the exception of the marker light,,, I was told that a 1974 dart fender is the same as my 1969 dart fender... Can anyone verify this for me... It might make finding one a lot easier...

I think so, I tried a 68 headlamp bezel on a 74 fender and the bucket is in the right place. You would have to weld up the holes where the header panel bolts up on the newer fenders and change the side marker.

I don't know the answer and I don't know if the Duster fender is different. But I have two good front fenders for a 74 Duster and I live in central PA

I have a 67 dart that has 73 dart fenders on it. The head lite bezel holes dont line up. They look to be down and toward the center. Would work if you can modify. The other problem is the plastic stud is to long. So you would have to get those too. Have check anything else. I dont know what else is different its to cold out now.

P.s. my avitar pic is the car.

I used 74 fenders on a 68.
67, 68 and 69 headlights are in slightly different places.
The 74 lined up right on the 68 but the bucket housing would need changed for the 69.
then of course side marker lights were different as were all the holes for emblems

Exactly... this is becasue in 69 they changed the head light location for the 70's model year... and then from there is might have changed again...

Yes these 67 Darts had a few one year only items on them. Is a big pain to replace them! But no one said LOVE is easy! :banghead:

Thanks for all the help, but it turns out that my engine build is going to cost more than I thought so I will have to put the fenders on the back burner... I am looking for a good right fender for a 69 dart swinger. If anyone has one I will be resuming my search in mid March. Unless its really cheep... Thanks again...

:help: Okay, I'm confused. Is the '67 fender different from the '68 & '69(obvious side marker differences noted) or is it just the '69? Will only the '73 fenders work on the earlier ones? If so what years? What modifications are necessary to make it work? I too have a '67 GT.

Thanks.

OK can we reverse this, will the glass fender for a 69 fit a 75, sorta?
We ve been tripping over a set for years, while I ve been looking for fenders for my swinger.
