Heck, just use a crow bar to pull it out, duct tape the two fingers together and you are good to go!

Ouch! I bet that hurt.
Kenny

Good ****!
Thats painful just to look at!
I don't think I could have waited, I'da pulled it out myself.....maybe doing even more damage.
Hope ya heal up OK.

George

never nailed myself, but i ve stepped on blunt concrete nails 3 times, dropped a 1" glob of cherry hot weld in my sleeve, and almost removed my thumb once with a cut off wheel. its funny how all the bad **** happens when you re almost done with your project. lol. hope it heals ok. coulda been worse..nail looked clean at least.

Dont feel to bad...... Ive done the same thing. I didnt nail my fingers together but the nail went in oneside and out the other side. The grazed the bone and then turned outward. Im glad it didnt go in the bone!

omg... I REALLY hate when that happens!
Hope they numbed em up good before pulling that puppy out.

I remember a few years ago I was cutting carpet for my boat-forming a side panel. It was the end of the day and I'd been at it since the am and havin a few beers as I enjoyed the So Fla sun.
Anyway- got to a seam where the blade wasnt cutting thru the material. I ran out of blades for my razor knife so I was just using 1 sided razor blade to finish up the last hour. Holding on the sides of the blade- I tried to cut... nothing. Tried again- nothing. So I get frustrated and put my finger on top of the blade and pushed hard as I cut...

It was then that I realized I had the blade upside down and was trying to cut with the wrong end. Needless to say I pushed that sharp razor right thru my finger all the way to the bone!!! Didnt really feel anything... but a sharp pinch and she bled pretty good as I turned my hand over to see what happened (duh).
The Dr did compliment me on a strait cut as he stitched me up... lol

I make sure I have plenty of refills for my razor knife now.

Really? Holy cow! When I saw the post date, thought for sure, April fools! If yer not yankin our crank , I wish you a quick recovery .

Funny how those nailers work so fast, before ya know it the nail is out! Been there, only I nailed my finger to a board. Hope ya heal quick and get that job done.

I know what you mean.I did this new years eve. Shows what a 10lb sledgehammer and a dumb *** can do togather. It shaddered the end of my thumb. The first I broke bones.I may half to go and get a 2nd opperation the 10th of this month. Mark

Nasty stuff. I worked with a guy who did that once. He didn't even curse. He didn't believe in cursing. I offered to curse for him but he asked me not to. LOL!! Hope you heal quickly. I'm sure they're gonna throb for a while.

OUCH! #-oDon't blame the beer, it was just doing it's job!
Seriously though, OUCH. Things that go through body parts have a pain only those who have experienced it can explain. As stated earlier, good thing it was clean. Good luck with the healing.

ok 2 stories lol
1) while tring to get an axle out of a mazda millenia's hub i smashed my thumb with a 40oz dead blow. split it in 2 spots and made a distinctive thud that i can't explain but will never forget. as my glove filled up with blood and watching it swell, it was the only injury that made me sick to my stomach. and didnt even break my thumb.

2) i had built a fish tank stand for my 150g saltwater aquarium, and removed an un-needed board from the front of it and could not get the screws out to save my life. well i tossed the board into my utility room and slammed the door causing the board to jump back onto the door itself. when i opened it hours later the board fell and i lurched back... being a 6ft board i found out i didn't move far enough and one of the screw HEADS cut through my left nostril ans it fell. worst pain i ever felt in my life and i bled like some one had cut my throat. good 4th of july that year...lol

hope you heal up good soon. next time hit the bottom two fingers so you can keep working :D

I stapled my pants leg and the tounge of my tennis shoes to the top of my foot with a 1 3/4 inch frameing staple. Grabbed it with the wire cutters in my tool belt and pulled it out of the bone.Looked like a purple snakebite. Know how you feel.I cringed when I saw yours and got a pain in my foot from my memory.

OUCH :shaking2:, What was your first words ?? :eek:ops:
Looks like a finishing nail is what Creed said as he just walked in and I showed it to him Nite Moves :-k
Is that a nail that has clue on it ?
Flesh is tuff and I bet the doctors had a hard time removing it.
If I could not get to a hospital I think I would have put a small wire on the nail at each end and touched it to a 12 volt battery to get it red hot and pulled that nail out :blackeye:
But that is why I am not a doctor :sign3:
I hope you heal up and look back at the pictures and be glad it is behind you Nite Moves
A new meaning for I nailed it and you know what wood feels like :D
Save the nail and put it on a wind chime for your new porch :blackeye:
All joking aside I hope it heals quick so you can give us a thumbs up, peace sign soon
